Roles here tend to fall into a few areas:

• Sales and counter staff — people who can talk to a contractor about grades and quantities without needing to check every answer.
• Logistics and dispatch — scheduling lorries, managing loads, keeping deliveries honest.
• Warehouse and stores — stock accuracy, loading, condition of material.
• Accounts and billing — GST invoicing, receivables, reconciliation.
• Field and site coordination — being the person the builder actually calls.

Experience in construction material, hardware or building supplies helps, but we care more about whether you are reliable and straight with people.
